Condition (VG+) – Includes a good deal of footage of the pit area and the staging lanes, as well
as Stock and Jr. Stock races. Great footage of Don Garlits, Connie Kalitta, Dave Strickler
(with an in-car camera), Dick Landy, the “Color Me Gone” Mopar, the Ramchargers, and more!

Condition (Excellent) – Coverage of the 1965 Winternationals in Pomona CA, Springnationals in
Bristol TN, and the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis IN, known as the Big Go. Excellent footage of all
3 events! This film is in color, and very clear, but the color is washed out.
1966 NHRA U.S. Nationals – (color – 24 min)
Condition (VG+) – Originally called “Race Against Time”, this film was sponsored by Hurst Performance. Footage
includes the Hurst Performance Clinic, “The Munsters Coach” making a pass, Gene Snow’s “Rambunctious”
1965 Dodge Dart, Tasca Ford Mustang, Grumpy Jenkins with his 1966 Chevy II, and much more!
1967 NHRA World Finals – (color – 20 min)
Condition (VG) – A rare film with highlights from the 1967 World Finals in Tulsa, OK. The hosts for this event were
Brock Yates and “Big Daddy” Don Garlits, both clad in dark suits (and ties) in an attempt to make the sport of drag
racing more respectable for TV viewers. Some good footage of Grumpy’s new Camaro, and the legendary Ronnie Sox.
Also includes some rare clips from the NHRA Awards ceremony held at the end of the year.
1968 NHRA U.S. Nationals # 1 – (color – 23 min)
Condition (VG+) – Originally titled “The Eliminators”, this highlight reel was narrated by
Bud Lindemann. Excellent coverage of the 1968 U.S. Nationals.
1968 NHRA U.S. Nationals # 2 – (color – 26 min)
Condition (VG+) – Originally titled “Drag Racer’s Holiday”, this is a totally different film from “The Eliminators” above.

Condition (Excellent) – From Bristol TN, this is a short film which shows various highlight clips, but most of
the footage is dedicated to Mickey Thompson’s Mustang Mach 1 Funny Car, driven by Danny Ongais.
